U.S. Senator Patty Murray, a senior member of the Senate Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Subcommittee, applauded the U.S. Department of Transportation’s announcement that ten airports across Washington state will receive over $13 million in federal grants.

“These investments are great news for Washington state families, small business owners, and communities who depend on safe, reliable airports to connect our cities and drive the local economy,” said Senator Patty Murray. “Investing in our infrastructure is one of the single best ways to ensure our economic competitiveness for decades to come.”
