Boatyard concerned Whatcom Waterway cleanup could end barge operations –  A $35 million cleanup in the Whatcom Waterway could start this August, but at least a few people are concerned the work may permanently remove the only barge loading ramp between Vancouver, B.C., and Seattle.

Big oil projects may fill Seattle port terminal during rebuildFor the next three years, petroleum industry activities may be taking over at the Port of Seattle’s Terminal 5 until a rebuild of the terminal for bigger container ships is completed.
