Port of Camas-Washougal Announces Thirteenth Annual Riverside Summer Concert Series
The Port of Camas-Washougal today announced the schedule and musical talent for the Thirteenth Annual Riverside Concert Series.
“This year we’re bringing back two favorite bands and introducing two new dynamic groups to the line-up,” said David Ripp, Port Executive Director. “The Riverside Concert Series is now in its 13th year and has become a staple in our community’s summertime schedule of events. We look forward to another year of crowd-pleasing performances, good food and family fun!”

4:00 pm: Children’s Bike Parade (patriotic theme)
5:00 pm: Sack Races
6:00 to 7:30 pm: From Portland, the JACOB MERLIN BAND, will put on an exhilarating show with jazz, funk, classical and rock to entertain all ages.
8:30 to 10:00 pm: BIG NIGHT OUT returns! A premier 12-piece rock, pop, funk and dance show band, featuring hits from the 60’s to the 80’s with high energy and a crowd-pleasing performance.
10:00 pm: FIREWORKS! courtesy of the City of Washougal. For the fourth year running, Mark Marine Service, Inc. will donate use of a river barge from which to launch the fireworks just south of the Marina.

6:00 to 7:00 pm: Fun, imaginative and professional, ROCKET 88 is a first class ensemble that plays country, swing, rhythm and blues, and more, to rave reviews.
8:00 to 9:30 pm: Popular with all ages is returning local favorite JOHNNY LIMBO AND THE LUGNUTS, performing classic 50’s and 60’s oldies hits.
Several food vendors will be offering a variety of treats, from cotton candy and ice cream to gyros and pizza. The Lions Club will again host a beer garden and sell hamburgers. Face painting and other fun offerings are in the works.
The port is seeking sponsors to join in support of the Concert Series. Sponsorship levels are available from $250 and up and all sponsors will be named in promotional and advertising materials, where possible. About the Port
The port brings jobs and recreational opportunities through a 400-acre industrial park, a 79-hangar general aviation airport and 350-slip pleasure boat marina. Grove Field is a small, general aviation airport with a state-of-the-art fueling station and 14 tie-downs in addition to the 79 hangars.
