Port of Ridgefield Seeks Bids For New Web Presence, Website

The Port of Ridgefield is soliciting bids for Port Web Presence Development & Website Replacement. The bidding document packet was made available online on September 24, 2015. The Request for Proposal bid document can be found on the port’s website www.portridgefield.org, under the “For Contractors” tab or from a link on the Home page.

Brent Grening, chief executive officer for the port, said that because the economic development agency is an open window to a global audience, the Port desires that its new web presence not only engage with and satisfy the information needs of the local community, but that it also accurately reflects the Port’s brand.

“In order to attract appropriate development partners and new business tenants, our new web presence should also support product service design, delivery and value capture,” Grening said.

Completed bid packets are due in digital format only by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16.

The submittal address is: Attn: Wonder Baldwin, executive assistant, wbaldwin@portridgefield.org. RFP responses must be received by the deadline at the email address above. It is the responsibility of the vendor to verify receipt of electronic submittals.

Finalists for the award will be named on November 6, 2015 by 5 p.m. The Port will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on or before November 17, 2015.

The Port of Ridgefield, established in 1940 and with a district population of approximately 17,000, is located in the northern part of Clark County in southwest Washington State. The Port district is divided by the rapidly expanding I-5 corridor known as the Discovery Corridor, with five freeway interchanges that provide easy access to many large tracts of undeveloped properties.
