Sea-Tac Airport Gets High Marks From Passengers

They like Sea-Tac Airport, they really do.


Sea-Tac has ranked highly in the Skytrax World Airport awards. The Port of Seattle, which runs Sea-Tac, said the airport was voted into the top ten of four Skytrax categories. They are:


– Ranked #3  for Best Airport Staff in the world (last year, Sea-Tac  was ranked #1 in that category).


–  #4 for Best Regional Airports in North America.


– #8 for Best Airports in North America.


-#10 in the category of World’s Best Airports Serving 30-40 Million Passengers.


The Skytrax rankings are based on surveys of more than 12.8 million passengers worldwide, said Sea-Tac Airport representatives, who were proud to get the awards.


“Every staff member who interacts with travelers  leaves a distinct impression that reflects on our airport, city, region and  country. Over 15,000 airport employees representing more than a hundred

companies come together to orchestrate a world-class customer service for our  passengers,” said a statement from Sea-Tac Managing Director Mark Reisin.


The Skytrax awards are issued annually and are independent of airports.
