Second Wild Olympics Economic Impact Study Now Online – News Release

The Port of Port Angeles commissioned Dr. Dan Underwood of Olympus Consulting and Jason Cross of Malus Partners to conduct a phase 2 study regarding the potential economic impacts of the proposed Wild Olympics Campaign for Clallam, Jefferson, Mason and Grays Harbor counties. The second study is entitled “Analysis of Wild Olympics Wilderness and Wild and Scenic Rivers Act of 2012: economic impacts and opportunities.” The first Wild Olympics study (phase 1) was conducted last year and presented to the Port Commission in September of 2011.

Dr. Underwood and Mr. Cross presented their findings today to the Port Commissioners during the commission meeting. To view the second study, please go the Port’s website and click on the link under News and Press Releases.
