It is time for the Washington Public Ports Association to begin collecting applications for our $1,500 educational scholarship. This scholarship is available to employees and commissioners of a Washington public port, their spouse, children or grandchildren who demonstrate a need and intend to pursue studies in academic areas related to port district purposes, including international trade, foreign languages, finance, business, engineering, environmental sciences, and other port related fields.
The Association will accept scholarship applications between now and March 14, 2016. Only complete scholarship application packets will be considered for award.

OTHERWISE MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO PORT EMPLOYEES
Complete application packets must be received in the WPPA office no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2016. The Executive Committee will determine the winner.
Announcement of the 2016 scholarship recipient will be made during the awards breakfast in May as part of the WPPA Spring Meeting at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson.
