Gov. Inslee extends the “Safe Start” phased reopening plan, mask requirement

On Thursday, July 23rd, Gov. Inslee announced the extension of his “Safe Start” Phased Reopening plan, with changes to guidance and regulations for restaurants, bars, fitness centers, weddings, funerals, family entertainment centers, movie theaters, and card rooms. These particular activities have been shown to have a greater risk of COVID-19 exposure. Port districts are encouraged to check your local health department for information and guidance particular to your county as to gathering size restrictions and more.

Additionally, masks are required in all public settings—basically, any place that isn’t your private residence or recreating alone outdoors requires a mask. This requirement specifically calls out government buildings, so this applies to port offices.
