There are three membership categories: Port Members, Associate Members, and Life Members. WPPA members receive discounted registration fees for education and training programs. Other membership benefits include legislative advocacy, public awareness, research and information services, and publications.
PORT
MEMBERS
Public port districts formed under the laws of Washington State are eligible for regular membership. Currently, 69 of the state’s 74 ports are members.
ASSOCIATE
MEMBERS
Individuals, business firms, and industries with an interest in the aims and goals of WPPA may become Associate Members after review by the Executive Committee. Membership affords recognition and discussion from the floor but does not include voting privileges. Associate members are given many opportunities at conferences to network with port officials.
We offer an “Associate Member Reception” at the spring and fall conferences where they can highlight and exhibit their products and services. An Associate Members’ Resource Directory is provided to member ports throughout the state and includes a summary of each WPPA Associate Member and the services provided.
If you would like to join WPPA as an Associate Member, please complete the Online Application .
LIFE
MEMBERS
Individuals who have distinguished themselves through service to the port industry and the Association are granted WPPA Honorary Life Membership by a vote of the Board of Trustees.
