The WPPA is actively engaged in creating our shared agenda and strategy for the 2019 legislative session.  To date in this legislative cycle, the WPPA Committee Chairs and Legislative Committee have developed and vetted a draft legislative agenda.  Much work has been done to advance our program to this point, and we appear to be nearing consensus on a slate of issues that will ultimately undergo review by the WPPA Trustees. 

Some of these issues may be influenced by the outcome of both initiatives and the configuration of the Legislature as determined in the coming general election, it makes sense for us to consider these results and refine our agenda accordingly.  To do that, the WPPA Legislative Committee will meet at a luncheon at Anthony’s HomePort in Olympia on Tuesday, November 13 from 10:00a - 12:30p.
