Have you submitted your public records metrics to JLARC yet? July 1st deadline is approaching
Did you know that RCW 40.14.026 (5) requires that certain agencies annually report on metrics related to fulfilling public records requests to JLARC (the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee)? Make sure to report your port’s public records metrics to JLARC’s online system before the July 1st deadline by visiting their reporting site: https://app.leg.wa.gov/PublicRecordsReporting/Account/Login.
If your port hasn’t yet submitted any information for 2020, please ensure that a report is submitted by 7/1/2021—this applies to ports who have spent less than $100,000, which is the required threshold for reporting. You need to confirm this in JLARC’s system.
Do you need more help or guidance? You can find this information on JLARC’s website here: http://leg.wa.gov/jlarc/Pages/publicRecAdmin.aspx.
If you have questions, please review the reporting instructions, the agency guidance or revisions document, or email JLARCPublicRecStudy@leg.wa.gov.
